[:ja]年末に訪れたものの、スタック祭り渋滞にハマって急きょ丸沼に変更したこともあり、今回が今シーズン初のたんばら。通常の土曜だったからかスタック渋滞もなく、無事に駐車場へ到着。

たんばらは道は至って普通の山道だが、降雪時は日影や斜度の関係で所々危険ポイントが発生する。自分のなかで一番”上級者向け”の雪道なのだ。（いちどノーマルにチェーン状態でスピンしたことがある。ノーマルはチェーンでも絶対にNG）

ファミリー、初心者ユーザのにぎわい

やはり関東近郊のなかでもファミリー、初心者向けとあってセンターハウス部分は混雑状態。特にファミリーゲレンデは斜度が殆どなく、初めてボードやスキーをやるユーザにはかなり安心感が得られる。（逆に斜度がなさ過ぎてバランスを崩すのではないかと思うが）

浅間、富士山まで望めるレイクウッドコース

やはりメインはクワッドからのトップ1800mからのクルージング。フォレストコースも緩やかで森の中を通る雰囲気があって初心者にも全然おすすめだし、クワッド下りて左、奥側は人が少なくて景色もいいレイクウッドコースが素晴らしい。斜度はカービングにはちょうどいい具合で、眼下に玉原湖、遠くに浅間、なんと昨日は遥か彼方に富士山まで望みながら快適なクルーズが愉しめた。

パーク系アイテム

また中間部分にはポコジャン、キッカー、ボックス系が配置されていてボーダ、スキーヤー問わずぴょんぴょんクリアしていくシーンが愉しい。最近はスキー場もパークを呼び水にするケースが増えているし、一度挑戦すると続けてやりたくなる面白さがある。（パートナは今回初めてボックスをクリアできたと喜んでいた。）

白馬のようなスケールはないけれども、標高の高さにともなう雪質、初心者に優しいコース配置、リフトおじさんや施設のスタッフも非常にフレンドリなのも親しみが持てる、やはりお気に入りのスキー場なのだった。

滑り足りずノルン水上へ

たんばらでは人がやや多いこともあり、またリフトが少し並ぶのとクワッドが一つしかないので、回数を滑りたい自分にはやや不満が残ったのも事実。しかし、すぐ隣のノルン水上のナイターが16:30からやっているという。沼田ICから高速で10分、インターから5分程度、ちょっとした移動でそのまま本日の第二部を滑り出した。

施設が充実

訪れてみて驚いたのが、その施設の充実ぶり。入り口からエスカレータでフロントへ。トイレ、更衣室も広く新しくきれいだ。レストランのほかちょっと休めるテーブルが多く、スキー場とは思えない（ホテルのような）ホッとする空間がある。

夕方〜19時前後までは全く問題なし

ナイターと聞くと雪が固くなるイメージがあった。ただ、17時くらいから滑り出し、しばらくは全く問題なく柔らかい雪質が愉しめた。21時近くになるとやはりアイスバーンが多くなりエッジが聞かなくなる（僕は）。まわりはそれでもガリガリ滑っているユーザが多かった。ちなみにややビュンビュン系のボーダ、スキーヤが多いので、まったくの初心者はある程度日中で感覚を掴んでからのほうがよいだろう。

土曜一日でココまで滑れる

沼田、水上エリアは関越練馬から100分前後の近さとその近接性から、日帰りでもかなり濃い時間が過ごせる。特に晴れた夜は1〜2時間夜空を見上げつつクールダウンなクルージングを愉しんでみるのも、またひと味違った夜の過ごし方だと感じた。

[:en]We’ve been there in the end of year holiday,but caught with “SNOW STACK TRAFFIC JAM” on the road on base area of the TAMBARA SKI PARK,and change destiny to MARUNUMA-KOGEN.So we got there first time of this season.This time,we were able to arrive there with no stack jams.

The Road to TAMBARA SKI PARK is almost normal scale of size in green season, but in winter,especially the case of snowin’,it gets so harder to drive than ever by the shadow(it gets so much ICED) or high inclination of the road.This “Course” is “FOR EXPERTS” one for me.

I’ve once spinned on this road,although CHAINED TIRES,but it was NORMAL TIRE.It is do NG with normal tires.

Bustle of Beginners & Families

Because of nearlly distance from TOKYO,and For Families & Beginners,TAMBARA SKI PARK’s BASE Area is a little bustled. Especially,the Family Slope has almost no inclination,so it is good for beginners of ski or snowboard with much relief. Rather,I think they can’t keep balance because of it.

Sight of Mt.ASAMA & Mt.FUJI!”LAKE WOOD COURSE”

We’ve got mainly fine feeling on Cruising from 1800 meters height with Quad lift.I recommend you “Woody Course”,because of it’s mild slope and “foresty” atmosphere.And I also recommend left side of quad lift “Lake Wood Course”.At a distance from center area,there are less people on the slope than base.The slope is just much for CARVING with powdery snow,I enjoyed comfortable cruise with wonderful sight of TAMBARA-LAKE,Mt.ASAMA,and Mt.FUJI!

Park-Items..many people jump with it

In middle area,there are Park-Items like mini gaps,kickers,Boxes,and many people jump it with funny tempo.Recently,many ski spots appeals themself with Park-zone,and we can enjoy the items easily once challenged and clear it.

TAMBARA SKI PARK doesn’t have the big scale like HAKUBA,but there are super fine snow in highland,friendly course settings to beginners,very nice staffs.So TAMBARA is one of my favorite snow resort.

pt.2 @NORN MINAKAMI

We felt a little bit unsatisfied in TAMBARA SKI PARK.. Because there are much people ond we can take only one speedy quad lift,so couldn’t take slopes many times.
Then my partner get information that there is nighter course near TAMBARA.Only 10 minutes highway　drive　took us to NORN MINAKAMI,and it got started the part2 of that day.

With Great Facilities

It was amazing that the center house has great facilities.We can take to the house on escarator from its entrance with boards.Everything is clean and new,for instace ,Front,Toilet,and Dressing room and so on.We can take rest in any space with tables and chairs,I had unusual impression compare to any other ski area.It has so much relaxing mood,can’t think it is center house of it.

Fine Snow In 18-20

I thought that the snow on slopes get iced&firmed on nighter time.But It was no problem around 18~20o’clock,We enjoyed fine snow and good inclination to carving.

Gradually,I can’t keep edging on that slope getting very icy around 21 o’clock. But it is only me?I saw many boarders&skiers going on icy slope with no difference as normal slope.Most of them put on speed,it seems like TOKYO metropolitan expressway of saturday night(it is almost the CIRCUIT with too fast&drifting cars!).So,beginners may be careful than day use.

Saturday’s 1day Trip

We can have nice time in NUMATA/MINAKAMI area (there are many ski areas around) although 1day trip because of the nearness(it’s about 100minutes) from NERIMA IC.It is very nice that having cool time cruise on nighter course with twinkling stars above.
