OKUTADAMI MARUYAMA ski area is located on higher mountains in Niigata pref,Japan.
It has rare character
The unique character is that the ski area is opened
earier season（Dec〜Jan）,then once closed,and two month later, it is opened again! Almost other area is closing,ski & snowboard fun users tend to be here OKUTADAMI.The day we visited there,it was full snowing!I think OKUTADAMI is one of the Heaviest snow area of Japan.
course variations..
the slope is almost for middle skillers, it has various kind of courses,slalomed,gaped,and wide carving bahn.Springtime,it usually get frozen on slopes by attention board.But when I visited there,it was on 7th April,the condition was almost good（not icebahn）,the no marl soft snow.

It is true the title says.It was raining on base, but lifted up,was snowing.There are some heaviest snow area in Japan, for example KAGURA,GALA,TAMBARA,and MARUNUMA,but OKUTADAMI is more than the other ski spots by the amount of the snow.The other area have almost 150mm-200mm,OKUTADAMI is covered with snow over 300mm in April!
